1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and optional phone number.

Voice data: Talk2Calc processes your voice locally on your device using your browser's built-in speech recognition when available. We do not store your voice recordings. When you use AI voice features, audio or transcribed text may be sent securely to OpenAI for processing.

Calculation history: Your calculations are stored locally on your device. If you are logged in, they may be synced to your account.

Photos: If you choose to send a photo of a math problem, it is sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. It is not stored by us.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Talk2Calc service
To send account-related emails, including confirmation and password reset emails
To manage your subscription and access level
To provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

Supabase: We use Supabase for user authentication and account data storage. Supabase Privacy Policy

OpenAI: We use OpenAI's API to process AI math questions, voice requests, and photo analysis. OpenAI Privacy Policy

Stripe and Apple: Payments and in-app purchases may be processed by Stripe or Apple. We do not store your payment card information.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Calculation history is stored in your browser's local storage and optionally synced to your account.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@talk2calc.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Talk2Calc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@talk2calc.com to exercise these rights.

8. Microphone Access

Talk2Calc requests microphone access to enable voice calculations. This permission is used only for speech recognition and AI calculation features inside the app.

9. Camera Access

Talk2Calc optionally requests camera access to allow you to photograph math problems. Photos are sent to OpenAI for analysis and are not stored by Talk2Calc.
